Sing Up

Sing Up is the national singing programme for schools in England. It is led by Youth Music, the UK's largest children's music charity and aims to build the confidence and expertise of primary school teachers and musicians so they can lead and support children's singing activities. The website has loads of songs and resources to download, with words which can be displayed on the interactive whiteboard.

Schools outwith England can register and download:
• Hundreds of songs
• Lesson plans and activities
• Warm-ups and workouts
• Guides and tutorials

A wonderful site which I only discovered within the last few weeks.

Especially surprised to find songs indexed against a full range of subjects, and realise that the site's not just intended to support music teaching, but the use of singing across the curriculum.
