Maths on Teachers' TV

Realistic problem-solving scenarios are used to explain the basics of maths in these programmes for pupils from Teachers' Tv. In each episode, the crew encounters challenges that can only be overcome by finding out about a new area of maths.

There are 20 videos in this series of The Number Crew, a primary series which uses realistic problem solving scenarios and animated characters to explain the basics of maths. Covering topics such as division, multiplication, multi-sided and 3D shapes (plus many many more) these videos are a good way to introduce pupils to basic maths ideas.
