For a bit of fun try this collaborative writing tool from Google.
You can write a few words and then a famous writer joins in, writing with you
in their own style. They might change or
delete your words using their own style.
They might add an adjective or change a verb and your completed work may
have additions from many authors such as Edgar Allan Poe, Dickens and
Shakespeare, colour coded, so you know who has intervened!

Writing fun

read.write.think is an interactive website that supports literacy learning. There are good lesson plans with activities and resources for reading and writing for all stages. eg acrostic poems, persuasive writing and lots more.

Writing Fun is another literacy site with good ideas and resources. It uses text organisers to help with the writing process.
