Teachers TV starts the year with some invaluable classroom resources, all of which can be used in class with pupils. There are plenty of varied programme topics to choose from.

The National Strategies are professional development programmes for Early Years, Primary and Secondary school practitioners in England. This new website supports teachers to improve the quality of learning and teaching. Select content and resources via the navigation or use the search box. There are also online groups and discussions.

Educated Fish


Every week, Ictopus magazine recommends a variety of lessons through ICT and this week highlighted a great website which is a one stop shop for links to all areas of the curriculum. The sites have been chosen by teachers as very useful for learning and teaching. Educated Fish covers all areas of the curriculum for ages 5-14.

Interactive Whiteboard Resources


It is probably worth highlighting this site again, as the bank of free to use tools and resources created for teachers who are teaching with an interactive whiteboard is being extended all the time.

There are help sheets on how to make Smart notebook teaching resources and includes interactive whiteboard resources for all areas of the curriculum.
