Stretch Break for Kids



Stretch Break for Kids is a program that interrupts your smartboard at a set interval each day.  If you don't want it to interrupt your lesson you can choose to ignore it or reset it to a later time

It gives pupils exercises to do while sitting at their desks in order to prevent RSIs  It is free to download for schools.

A popular alternative to Sparklebox, http://www.primarytreasurechest.com provides lots of downloadable primary resources, some of which are editable.  We have been using their human body resources this week.

Big Writing points system


Based on  a checklist of aspects of  Big writing, this points system focuses on the four main aspects:- V-vocabulary, C – connectives, O – openers and P – punctuation. It helps children visualise and see the importance and need to check and edit their writing.
